EDITORIAL STANDARDS
Advertising Policy
URT Stories is funded in part by advertising and partnerships. This policy explains the boundary between commercial content and editorial work.
Editorial independence
Advertisers and partners have no influence over which stories we publish, how they are reported or where they appear. Commercial agreements never include editorial approval.
Labelling
Sponsored content, advertorials and partner features are clearly labelled and visually distinguished from editorial stories. They never appear as URT Stories reporting.
Advertising standards
We accept advertising that is lawful, honest and consistent with our values. We decline advertising that is misleading, discriminatory or damaging to the public interest.
Placement
Advertising is kept visually separate from editorial content. Ad placements do not imitate story cards, headlines or bylines.
